You still want to help people, but in the meantime you are killing yourself!  The long hours, the physical demands, the growing lack of respect the healthcare industry is getting.  I know… I had been there for over 35 years. 

What was frustrating is that the pay had a ceiling… it didn’t matter how long I had been in the job or how many hours I worked. I was always going to be at the mercy of someone else. Not only in the pay, but with the hours and the unsafe, unrealistic assignments that were handed out. Despite the shortage of staff, I was still responsible for the health or life of another human being; no matter how many times this issue was addressed as being unsafe. I also found that as much as I loved my career, I was witnessing things that no longer aligned with my values of true healing.

I worked for years, from bedside to nursing management to earning my doctorate. I loved helping my patients. But more than that I loved helping my colleagues who I knew were going down the path I had just emerged from.

I went on my own journey to find a better way of continuing my journey of healing and nurturing. I took an untold number of courses and certifications. I was addicted to learning more about how I could make a living while remaining in the healthcare field. I decided if I wanted a future, I would need to work for myself but not by myself.

I didn’t need more education, I just needed a passion and a plan.  I went from frustrated to freedom by earning enough money to live life on my own terms. I now have the best of both worlds. 

I succeeded in my dream and now thrive on helping you do the same.  I don’t want you to go down the long and winding path of spending thousands of dollars on certifications and degrees when there is a simpler solution.
